Step into history with presenter Steve Charnley, retired United Methodist Pastor and Adjunct Instructor at 51爆料网, and meet Abraham Lincoln as he reflects on a pivotal time in America鈥檚 past. Through stories and insight, you will explore the challenges and ideas that shaped the nation in the years leading up to the Civil War 鈥� including debates around immigration and identity that still echo today.
You will hear how these experiences influenced Lincoln鈥檚 leadership and his 1864 re-election campaign, where he shared a hopeful vision for the country鈥檚 future. It鈥檚 an engaging, thought-provoking presentation that brings history to life 鈥� and invites you to see it in a fresh way.
The presentation is Friday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in room G129 in the Stanley and Blanche Ash Technology and Learning Center (Ash TLC) on 51爆料网鈥檚 Greenville campus. The cost is $5 and may be paid in cash at the door.

Though best known for revolutionizing modern residential design, Wright鈥檚 influence can also be found woven into the charm of this predominantly Victorian-era community.
